this last weekend i climbed to the top of Mount Whitney, the highest point in the contigous US. You probably already know this from clicking on the link. We did 55 miles in just under 4 days, which was pretty good. Also for note, altitude sickness is a real thing and one person out of six suffers this when summitting Mount Whitney. Drugs are my friend, and I will not forget how they helped me... mmm so good...

What the link won't tell you is that i was freakin' cold (note: socks pulled as high as possible)!!

To My Friends

This weekend, was awesome. Surrounded by friends and having a good time. But in this weekend I realized I must pay tribute. My good friend Rob, who also has a blog, is always posting his awesome pics with his excellent drinking selections. His fine tastes, in extrordinary locals with exceptional friends. My lesser tastes, in a garage, with even lesser beer. Therefore I'm posting these next few posts for Rob and all my friends, for inspiring me to keep this blog going and keeping my weekends awesome.
